We see SMWC as our political home and this is our FIFTH year doing karaoke together for this organization that we feel so much love and appreciation for. As long-time members of SMWC and participants in karaoke, we see this as our way of giving back to this grassroots, base-building organization that is building a movement of poor and working class people in southern Maine. We want to see it thrive to interstellar proportions and we know that grassroots fundraising is a huge piece of that. For those of you that have seen Kirk's rock star persona and Heather's participation-award-winning stage presence, or if you know of our unintentional rick-rolling of ourselves, you know that we guarantee enthusiasm if not singing on key.
