At A Child’s Light, we believe no child should face the darkness of trauma alone. We provide expedited mental health support for children and adolescents, ages 2 to 18, who have experienced severe trauma. Our team of trauma-informed, licensed and pre-licensed therapists offers the essential resources and tools needed for these young people to heal and move forward with hope and resilience. This year, the need is greater than ever. With local agencies being shut down due to lack of funding and understaffing, hundreds of children are expected to be referred to us for help. These children have already faced unimaginable challenges, and now they risk losing access to the mental health support that could change their lives. We refuse to say NO to any child in need, but we cannot do it without your help. The funds raised during this campaign will allow us to provide timely therapy, ensuring these children receive the help they deserve before it’s too late. $50 - Pays for therapeutic art classes for 5 children $100- Provides a mental health assessment with a licensed therapist $250 - Provides 2.5 months of equine therapy $500 - Helps pay for 3 months of trauma-informed therapy
