Those that knew Kim, knew her heart and passion for helping others. The Kim Wilson Memorial fund is dedicated to the work she did and those lives she touched by providing support for the people and causes she was so passionate about in life.
Kim’s mission in this world, both professionally and personally, was to be the hands and feet of Jesus. She walked that path day in and day out through her career in social work and her work reflected her deep love for Christ and her passion for helping others. Over the years Kim worked with adoptive children and parents while also being a strong advocate for helping biological parents rehabilitate and reunite with their children wherever possible, she worked in foster care both ensuring safe and loving homes for children while also teaching and mentoring foster families, she held the hands and walked the road alongside victims of domestic violence, helped women facing the dual challenge of pregnancy and opioid recovery, she spent time in mental health counseling, supported global missions through Harding University, provided support for families of critically ill and end of life patients, and most recently her time was spent working with heart transplant recipients and their loved ones. Kim was a confidant and an inspiration and touched not just her patients but all of those around her in the process.
