Blue Collar Artist Studio - Program Sponsorship
Five years into Blue Collar Artist Studio.
Tens of thousands of hours coached. Thousands taped. Hundreds of artists trained, challenged, and changed.
What started as a one off idea to help a few actors in my living room has become a full time business that supports my family and a staff of others, built entirely through word of mouth and referrals. No ads. No funnels. Just people telling other people that something real is happening here.
If you are reading this, you are part of that story. Your support helps us keep Blue Collar what it has always been at its best: a community rooted training ground for working class, nontraditional, and underrepresented actors who were never handed the keys.
Donations here go directly to that mission: funding full and partial tuition scholarships, weekly acting classes and scene study, private coaching and audition preparation, and industry facing support like reels, headshots, and mentorship so artists can actually get in the room and work. They also help us keep the lights on, cover studio space, equipment, and materials, and build original projects that give our artists real credits and real experience.
Blue Collar Artist Studio has just been real people telling other real people that something real is happening here.
We teach the craft and the character. The work is rooted in mentorship, drama therapy principles, and the belief that your art and your life should make each other better. We train artists to work smarter, faster, funnier, and more human, building a sustainable creative life that does not swallow the rest of who they are.
And make no mistake, the training here is rigorous. It is demanding. It is not for everyone. But for those willing to do the work, it is the kind of training that changes you. The kind that makes you dangerous in the best, most artistic way possible. Or, least that’s what the testimonials say. They come from humans. Promise.
Donate here to sponsor training for a burgeoning artist, even your own.
Additionally, our proudest work:
THE BLUE COLLAR ARTIST STUDIO VETERAN FELLOWSHIP
This isn’t something we advertise.
But for the last three years, Blue Collar Artist Studio has quietly trained U.S. military veterans (active and retired) in acting, writing, producing, and drama therapy work that is part craft, part healing, and all heart. With Producer Hub as our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, we are now building a tuition free, one year curated program where veterans receive full scholarships for training, mentorship, and hands on production experience, culminating in tangible outcomes like short films, staged readings, or showcase events. Your donation helps underwrite those scholarships, cover production costs, and make sure veterans leave with real work on their resumes, not just theory in a classroom.
Our goal: make this a tuition free year round program in perpetuity.
If you’re considering an end of year donation or 501(c)(3) tax write off, you can contribute to our Veteran Fellowship Program at the DONATE button below, or directly through our fiscal sponsor, Producer Hub at Producerhub.org.
Your support helps veterans tell their stories, not just serve in them.
Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
Here’s to the work. The craft. The character.
