The Artemis Bass Initiative is dedicated to advancing the careers of women and nonbinary bassists through mentorship, orchestral training, and professional development. We believe in fostering a more inclusive and diverse classical music landscape—one where all bassists have equitable opportunities to succeed.

Through our programs, we provide bassists with the tools they need to succeed:

Mentorship Program: Personalized guidance from established professionals who offer career coaching, audition preparation, and industry insights.

Orchestral Training Program: High-level instruction and performance opportunities designed to prepare musicians for professional careers.

Seminar Series: Exclusive workshops and discussions addressing key topics such as navigating auditions, performance anxiety, and career sustainability
