Support the AIDS Memorial Quilt and help ensure the care and protection of all 50,000 panels dedicated to the memory of loved ones lost to AIDS.

The AIDS Memorial Quilt, considered the largest community arts project in the world, with more than 110,000 names stitched into its 54 tons of fabric, connects the history of the AIDS pandemic to the ongoing fight against stigma and prejudice.

Thirty-five years ago, our nation was in a struggle to combat two diseases impacting society. One is rooted in public health and the other is rooted in prejudice, discrimination, and injustice.

During the darkest days of the AIDS pandemic, a community came together to create the Quilt. Its activist beginnings remain a powerful teaching tool for health equity, social justice, and hope for the future.

As our nation struggles with recent losses, the Quilt continues to comfort our nation as a symbol of hope, but also a poignant reminder of how we can change hearts and minds through action and love.
