Everyone starts somewhere.

For me, it began on stage as a performer. I took a stab at stage managing (not my best moment) and stabbed a few thumbs trying out costume design. Then I fell in love with directing. I said “yes” to every opportunity I could—learning, growing, and building my toolkit as a theatre artist. But even with all that experience, it felt like the words on my résumé were never quite enough for the career development opportunities I was seeking.

Like many early-career artists, I hit a wall.

We are Quinn Productions, a theatrical production company based in New York City. We are dedicated to uplifting early-career theatre artists—directors, music directors, stage managers, and designers—who have recently graduated from BFA/MFA programs or completed industry-specific training.

Quinn Productions exists to break the cycle of “you need experience to get experience.”

We’re here to remove barriers—those that keep talented artists from building their careers just because they don’t have the right credits yet. When institutional support ends, Quinn steps in to offer:

Artist Stipends – Experience is an invaluable resource, but doesn't replace a living wage. We want our artists to be able to be confident and secure in the time they are taking with to pursue their craft.
Rehearsal & Performance Space – Emerging artists need Space to work on and hone their craft. These spaces become our home away from home.

Pricillia is the most powerful woman in Onína, a small country off the coast of Hispaniola. She controls the one commodity that keeps the business of Mejorar La Raza going - women. Mejorar La Raza is a play that explores the insidious ways women are forcibly divided in pursuit of validation from men.
