Deputy Sheila Jones, a 30-year veteran of the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office and proud Army veteran, was injured in the line of duty during a shootout near the Harris County Family Law Center in downtown Houston. Her bravery and swift action helped prevent a potential mass-casualty tragedy.

While Sheila's bullet-proof vest saved her from life-threatening injuries, she is now recovering from the trauma and pain of this harrowing event. As she heals, let’s come together as a community to show our gratitude and support for one of our finest public servants.
