Donald "Donnie" Cobb Guenther Memorial Fund

On March 4th, we lost one of our leaders, and one of our founders of River City Advocacy Don Guenther. 

Don "Donnie" began working on creating a safe haven and welcoming place for people in our community to go to who were struggling with Mental Health issues.  He began hosting small support groups in our local libraries back in the late 90's and eventually he and his wife, Donna, were able to acquire a 501c3 for the non-profit recognition with the IRS in 2001 under the name "River City Advocacy, Inc." .  For the last 23 years, we have been serving as a invaluable resource for those seeking counseling and peer support without having to worry about financial barriers.  

Many in our community have asked how to give back to the family to help with memorial costs and we have set up a Memorial Fund in his honor.  You may donate through this link and it will go directly to Donna Guenther, his widow.
