About the Speaker:

Jillian Harrington, EdD, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, MHP

Dr. Jillian Harrington leads the BS Health Informatics program at the University of Central Florida (UCF) School of Global Health Management & Informatics, where she also teaches in the health services administration and HIM programs. As founder and owner of ComplyCode, she provides comprehensive healthcare and research consulting services. Before joining UCF, she served as chief compliance officer and chief privacy official at a major academic medical center. Drawing on her extensive academic background, which includes a doctorate in leadership from Creighton University, a master's in health systems administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a bachelor's in healthcare administration from SUNY Empire State College, Dr. Harrington brings both theoretical knowledge and practical experience to her roles. Her professional affiliations include fellowship in the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and active membership in several healthcare organizations including the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), the Health Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
