May 2024 Storm Damage Recovery

Somewhere under this mess is a fence!

On the night of May 15, 2024, our area was hit by a series of strong storms. Fortunately, our horses were unharmed and our buildings remained intact. However, two of our perimeter fence rows were severely damaged. The attached photo only shows a small section of the large trees that were uprooted, broken, and tangled up. We have been able to cut and drag the trees into piles with the help of many volunteers. The next step will be installing temporary electric fencing. Then we will start removing the huge root systems that were uprooted. We will need to rent heavy equipment and purchase new fencing materials if you could help us out.
