Welcoming Week

Thank you for your interest in supporting Thrive Mahoning Valley and our 2025 Welcoming Week events. 

For the past six years, Thrive Mahoning Valley has proudly hosted Welcoming Week events that bring together neighbors from all backgrounds to foster connection, celebrate diversity, and affirm the power of inclusive communities to drive shared prosperity. This work is made possible through collaboration with incredible partners such as the Center for Working-Class Studies at YSU, Lit Youngstown, BRITE Energy, OH! WOW, Mill Creek MetroParks, and many others.

Our 2025 theme, “Sharing Our Stories,” centers the voices and experiences that shape our community. Each event will highlight one of the seven Certified Welcoming Framework categories: Government and Community Leadership, Connected Communities, Education, Community Safety, Equitable Access, Economic Development, and Civic Engagement.
