Glen Canyon Outdoor Academy is a charter school that has been serving Page AZ and the surrounding Navajo Nation areas since August 2022. We are committed to providing an active, student-centered environment through outdoor expeditionary learning, collaborative teachers, and family and community engagement that will develop inquisitive explorers, cultivate creative thinkers, and empower resilient learners. We love enhancing our students' education with practical, hands-on experiences in our beautiful outdoor landscape that surrounds us.  This year we have several great expeditions that we hope to allow all of our students to participate in: Overnight trips to Kanab to volunteer at Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary, Backpacking Trip with grades 5 and 6, San Juan River Trip, Catalina Islands Marine Institute, Pollinator Festival for grades K-2, Time Travel Overnight for grades 3 and 4.
