The African Community in Dane County has been growing since the 1960s and we estimate that there are more than 10,000 African immigrants and their families in the County alone. Since it started operations in 2019, the African Center is serving as a ‘home away from Home’ for new and established community members, providing invaluable resources to empower individuals and families as well as opportunities for businesses to thrive.
