About the Race

We are excited to announce that our 21st annual Race for Education will take place on Thursday, April 30th. This Race serves not only as an important fundraiser, but also as an opportunity for our school community to celebrate our successes through the last several years. St. Jerome was recently named a School of Distinguished Instruction by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating consistent school-wide academic growth. Our walking together will be a display of unity and thanksgiving. We continue to be committed to providing excellent spiritual and academic experiences for our students.

Our Goal

With your support and generosity, we hope to raise $20,000! All monies raised directly benefit the children of St. Jerome by contributing to the operation of the school as well as special projects. We are proud of the improvements that have recently been made to our programs and facilities. With your generosity, we can continue our commitment to excellence here at St. Jerome School including the following projects:

Refresh and upgrade the audio and projection systems in the classrooms for the benefit of our students and teachers.
Purchasing additional materials and supplies to enhance our specials classes, after school programs, and student activities. We are proud to offer all students classes in art, music, physical education, Spanish, technology, and library/study skills. Your support will help us to continue to grow these programs.
Update the Chromebook and iPads as well as charging carts along with purchasing materials for our STREAM programs.

Race Day

The Race is scheduled for Thursday, April 30tht at 9:30 AM (Rain date is Friday, 5/1). Our students and faculty will walk a designated route through the Winchester Park neighborhood. Neighbors are encouraged to decorate windows and front yards with messages of encouragement for our walkers. The students will be permitted to wear the school gym uniform that day.
