Purchase your ticket for the RAD Women’s Self-Defense Course – April 2026 in Haywood County. These classes give women the skills, confidence, and community to protect themselves and support one another.

Class Dates & Times:

Tuesday, April 7; Thursday, April 9; Tuesday, April 14; Thursday, April 16 **(Must be able to attend all 4 sessions to complete the course)
5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Location: Waynesville Recreation Center, 550 Vance St, Waynesville, NC

Hosted by REACH of Haywood County, in partnership with the Waynesville Police Department, this program is made possible by community generosity and a shared commitment to safety and empowerment.

RAD is a nationally recognized self-defense program teaching awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and hands-on defense techniques. Classes are led by certified volunteer instructors who help women make confident decisions about their safety and respond effectively in real-world situations.

Ticket Cost: $25 per participant
