We’re creating accessible, fat-affirming hiking experiences where you don’t have to change yourself, physically or emotionally, to belong. No expectations to shrink your body. No tolerance for fatphobia. Just community, support, and space to breathe.

Nature supports our wellbeing in real, meaningful ways. It reduces stress, improves mental health, supports heart health, boosts vitamin D, and helps us reconnect with ourselves. And yes, even a slow, gentle hike counts.

Despite all the noise about fat people’s “health,” spaces that truly support fat health like this are rare. So we're building one.

Rad Fat Hiking is led by and for fat folks, with experienced leaders who intentionally choose trails and create environments where you can feel safe, supported, and at ease.
