We pray this message reaches you in good health and Iman. As we enter the last ten blessed nights of Ramadan, I invite you to join us for our only fundraising Iftar this coming Saturday, March 22nd, at AlBayan Academy. These final days of Ramadan are filled with immense blessings, and among them is Laylatul Qadr — the Night of Power, which is better than a thousand months. There is no better time to come together, support our community, and invest in a cause that will bring continuous rewards, in sha’ Allah (God willing).

Our Journey and Vision

Last year, despite our best efforts, our attempt to acquire a permanent property was not successful due to financial constraints and an extensive permitting process. However, we never lost sight of our mission — to establish a center that serves as a spiritual and social hub for the Millcreek and South Snohomish community.

Alhamdulillah (praise be to God), an incredible opportunity has re-emerged! The very same location we visited over a year ago — Farm House Row, where Amazon Go is located — is back on the market at a more affordable price per square foot. We acted swiftly and are now in the process of signing a lease. To secure this space, two of our dedicated board members have personally guaranteed the organization’s credit application, ensuring RCC’s financial standing for this important milestone.

This is a crucial first step in our journey. While we will continue pursuing a larger, permanent space in the future, our immediate priority is to activate this leased location as soon as possible — offering daily prayers, community programs, and educational initiatives for everyone.

The Last Ten Nights & Laylatul Qadr – A Time to Multiply Your Rewards

The final ten nights of Ramadan are an opportunity to seek forgiveness, mercy, and the highest rewards. Supporting a community center where prayers, Qur’an recitation, and acts of worship take place is one of the greatest Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuous charity that benefits you long after this life.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“He who guides others to an act of goodness will have a reward similar to that of its doer.” (Hadith Source)

By guiding others and supporting righteous deeds, we multiply our own reward. Laylatul Qadr in particular — which may fall in one of these last ten nights — offers rewards greater than a thousand months of worship. There is no better time to give and seek Allah’s pleasure.
