Rainbow Magnolia Society

MS Capital City Pride believes everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated, especially here in Mississippi. But doing that work takes resources, and that’s why we are excited to launch our new giving circle known as the Rainbow Magnolia Society!

This is a group of deeply committed individuals and couples who can help us keep Pride free and support all our programs throughout the year. All Rainbow Magnolia Funds will go directly towards funding the organization’s community-driven programs throughout the year. A percentage of the donations will also go towards the It’s Pride Y’all Committee to help keep our festival FREE to the public. This is more than just a gift; it’s a powerful act of love for our local LGBTQ+ community.

We know asking for money isn’t always easy, but the truth is that local LGBTQ+ nonprofits like ours are often the first to feel the impact of political pushback and funding cuts. We’ve already felt the pressure this year as we’ve lost several sponsorships from past years because of cuts to DEI. Your donation keeps us moving forward! It allows us to show up when our community needs us most, offering resources, sharing vital information, and creating spaces filled with pride and belonging.
