Healing Heroes Through Horsemanship is a local (Nipomo-based) 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering Veterans and First Responders on California’s central coast through equine-assisted programs and vocational horsemanship training, while actively supporting the retraining and rehoming of retired racehorses.
Our Programs:
Elite Vocations: Empower American Veterans with employable skills and housing benefits through our certified horsemanship training programs.
Healing Heroes: Help Veterans, First Responders, and their families build resilience and find hope through our equine-assisted behavioral wellness programs.
New Horizons: Offer a retired racehorse a fresh start through our retraining program, providing them with the opportunities for a loving home through adoption.
