- How have you been involved with Slant’d? I joined Slant'd for the first issue in 2017 as a copy editor. Since then, I've worked as an editor on issues 2-5 with our incredible non-fiction writers. Now, I'm the Director of Development, steering our small and mighty development team to lay the fundraising foundation and strategy for this new era of Slant'd.
- What excites you about this next chapter at Slant’d? Our team has spent a lot of time dreaming and problem solving this year - and the sense of community, of partnership, of caring for one another as we rebuild Slant'd is something that is so special and important to cultivate within the AAPI community at large, across barriers and differences. It is really exciting to see that north star - of a space for AAPI to thrive and flourish - more clearly day by day.
