We are raising funds to help build a magical tree house for the kiddos in the Red Barn Playhouse program and we need your help!

Naturally, kids are exposed to all kinds of weather as part of a nature-based programming. To continue supporting this educational approach, we realized that the kids would greatly benefit from having a small cozy structure in the backyard that they could find refuge in when the weather changes throughout the seasons. To build this, we've partnered with an artist, designer and builder out of Lyle, WA to build "The Treehouse."

Scott MacDonald is primarily a jewler by trade, but we've actually gotten to know him over the years through his whimsical and creative carpentry work at Pickathon. For years now, Scott has been one of the creative engines in building out the hidden backstage VIP spaces where all the artists hang in between sets and during the late night hours. Below is a sketch of what your contributions will help us build in the backyard, and below that are some photos of Scott's work over the last few years at Pickathon.

All donations are 100% tax deductible through our non-profit status. You can either make a contribution above by selecting the "make a donation" button, or you can write a personal check out to Red Barn Community and we will keep track of your donation manually in our system.

FYI - When you move through the donation link, there will be a section where you're asked to "tip" Givebutter.....you can choose any amount from 0% on up.....Givebutter adds this voluntary tip as a way of covering their operations costs to all online fundraisers on their platform, as an alternative to the mandatory "handling fees" that other platforms slap onto transactions.
