You have to already have experience to get a job. This program gives Refcode graduates the opportunity to get that all-important first real job getting paid real money and working on a real project with a real team.

Interns will work on a team building a real-world project for the full 4 month internship that's designed to meet the unique needs and situations of refugees in Atlanta: it's paid, it's part time, it's fully remote, and hours are flexible. This gives the most Refcode students the opportunity to participate in this incredible program.

Personal Mentorship

Each intern will be matched with a technical mentor who is already experienced in Bubble.io software development.

Each intern will receive a MacBook laptop to use during the internship and keep afterwards.

A Project to be Proud of

Interns will work on a challenging web app that will be sure to impress future employers and will stand out on any resume. On top of that, the project will always be for a good cause!

Experience in Professional, Cross-functional Team

Each internship will be managed the way a professional team would, with sprints, kanban ("swimlane") task management, and user stories. The project will be managed by a dedicated Project Manager, there will be acceptance meetings with the Product Owner, and students will collaborate with specialists to complete the project, just like they would in any other company.
