There are currently 50 people in Hadera and another 50 in Ashkelon who remain stranded, unable to leave as the government's evacuation support is limited to those within 7 kilometers of the Gaza Strip, citing financial constraints. Our commitment involves aiding these families, recognizing that our endeavors will significantly contribute to healing the wounds inflicted during this extraordinary period of tragedy.

The allocated funds will be directed towards securing housing and addressing basic accommodation requirements for the community in the upcoming months. Ideally, we aim to establish a more permanent support system for these individuals.

Because we are stronger together, centralizing funds under one umbrella makes our community a fundraising powerhouse that can significantly move the needle for the causes that we decide to support. All contributions to the Tikkun Project are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. law through our fiscal sponsor, the Telos Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization recognized by the IRS. As a result, our community can centralize our fundraising of tax-deductible donations and direct funds to the most urgent causes as the situation evolves on the ground, in the most time and cost-effective manner.
