I’m beyond excited to be apart of the Rekindled Front Lines team heading to Asheville, NC this November (19–23)! After Hurricane Helene, nurses in the area have been carrying so much — showing up for patients while also dealing with the devastation in their own lives and communities. As a nurse myself, I can understand how heavy that can be, and I feel called to show up for them the way I wish more people would have shown up for me during my hardest days. This trip means so much to me because it’s not just about bringing resources or gifts — it’s about sitting alongside these nurses, acknowledging their strength, and reminding them they’re not alone. Together with Rekindled Nurse and Debriefing the Front Lines, we’ll be offering compassion, peer support, and community care that goes beyond words. I saw first hand the impact when they went to FL and wanted to be apart of the sunshine spreading.
