Story
4 years ago, on September 1st, 2018 Youth in Diaspora was launched. That same year we fed 100 families in Makoko, the following year in 2019 we fed 200 families in Makoko. In 2020 the pandemic happened and in 2021 things started to bounce back. During that time we fully transitioned into Education, a more sustainable way of impact and in 2022 we're launching our first Education Program. A few days to our 4 year anniversery we are having a RELAUNCH of Youth in Diaspora. A new Youth in Diaspora with a clearer vision for sustainable impact.
There will be free food and drinks, a networking session, the launch of a new YID program and a Special Guest - Issac Olowolafe Jr, the Founder of Dream Maker Inc! The event will be in Mississauga and tickets will be required to enter.
