Keri Yousif (model), Margaret Hurdlik and Amber Hilton (design duo) are all board members of Farrington’s Grove Historical District, Inc. (https://farringtonsgrovehd.org/ ), a non-profit, neighborhood association whose mission is to preserve the unique architectural integrity of the nationally registered, historic district of Farrington’s Grove (Terre Haute’s oldest surviving neighborhood). FGHD, Inc. works to build and promote community in the neighborhood through numerous beautification, educational, and social activities. FGHD, Inc. is excited to participate in this year’s Replay Runway because our work in preserving the historic neighborhood aligns with reTHink, Inc.’s goals of environmental stewardship and community development. Indeed, preserving Farrington’s Grove, from restoration projects to green spaces to infill to community outreach, is an excellent fit with reTHink’s emphasis on recycle, reuse, and building a more sustainable Terre Haute.
