Resource is a lending library making design knowledge more accessible in New York City. Our catalog contains 400+ books and publications for loan that expand our understanding of design and the role it plays in our lives.

Launch a Research Fellowship
The Resource Research Fellowship will aid an independent researcher in utilizing our library's collection as a reference collection for a research topic that pertains to our catalog. Through the fellowship they will gain support through monetary funds, resource procurement, and the assistance to design and publish a printed body of work that will close out the collaboration.
Start our own publication
The Resource Reader will publish contemporary works by writers, artists and designers in our community to further contextualize the role of human design outside of commercial industry.
Grow our digital archive
Resource Archive is a digital archive of analog and process documents from living Black & POC designers. By archiving these materials, we are furthering our mission of making design knowledge more accessible and preserving the stories of a community often overlooked within the industry.
