Partnership in Resilient Virginia reflects a shared commitment to advancing whole-community resilience through education, collaboration, and innovation. Through the Partnership Network, Resilient Virginia connects public, private, academic, and community partners to advance resilience planning, education, and implementation across the Commonwealth.
Community College Partner operates one primary campus, serving a defined local area with two-year degrees, certificates, and workforce programs.
Community College Multi-Campus Partner operates multiple campuses or instructional centers, serving a broader region with coordinated programs and shared governance.
College Partners are higher-education institutions that primarily offer undergraduate degrees and operates as a single academic unit.
Medium University Partner have a moderate student population (generally 2,500–10,000 students) offering undergraduate and graduate programs across several academic schools or departments.
Large University Partner has a large student population (typically over 10,000 students) offering extensive undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, often with significant research activity and multiple academic divisions.
Mission-driven Virginia entities (i.e., nonprofits, government agencies, sovereign nations, academic institutions) seeking to collaborate on programs, share expertise, and help advance resilience initiatives across communities and sectors, are invited to become Resilient Virginia Partners.
