Retirement Legacy Campaign
By honoring our athletes, we honor Randy and her 34 years of service to Special Olympics New Mexico.
Our goal is to raise $200,000 from this legacy campaign to help provide sports facility access for training and competition for five years.
Sports training and competition experiences for SONM athletes provide:
A sense of belonging, pride, and dignity
Opportunities to make their own choices and set goals
Improved health and fitness
Ability to be with other athletes and the identity that comes with being on a team
The opportunity to celebrate athletes for who they are and for what they accomplish
Support for SONM directly expands access to quality training facilities across the state, removing cost barriers so athletes can consistently practice and compete. This investment in their training doesn’t just improve performance—it helps enhance their potential for greater fulfillment and opportunities throughout their lives.
