Monthly support sustains the Richmond Food Shelf and ensures we have predictable income to purchase a wide variety of food for our neighbors.

As food costs continue to rise, the needs of the most vulnerable folks in our community do too. Often, families are forced into making difficult decisions such as choosing between heating their homes or putting food on the table. Visits to the food shelf help alleviate some of those difficult choices for our neighbors. We try to connect food shelf customers with other supports in the area to receive social services, job services and other opportunities that may be helpful.

Reliable monthly support from our subscribers allows us to have revenue to respond quickly to the needs of our food shelf customers.

We believe that food is a human right, that everyone needs to have access to the nourishing food that they need. We invite you to take action towards food security for our local neighbors by becoming a monthly sustainer.
