Crocker 4th Grade 2026 Coloma Trip

Hello 4th Grade!

We are excited to have the opportunity to go Coloma again for the fourth grade overnight trip! This Crocker tradition is a memorable experience for the kids and something they look forward to all year. Our goal is for every student to participate in this wonderful Gold Rush immersion learning and class bonding experience in an outdoor education setting.

To make this trip a reality, we will need to raise $25-30k, of which $10k has been raised from events and donations to date. This breaks down to approximately $400 per student (63 fourth graders) and also covers the costs for the 20ish chaperones needed. We will work towards raising the remaining necessary funds through donations, corporate matching, sponsorship(s), and other events. As this is a school-based field trip, nobody is required to pay, but the field trip cannot happen if the money is not raised.  Donations to this givebutter account go to the PTA and as a non-profit, are tax-deductible.  Please get your donations in soon and take advantage of the tax-deductibility for calendar year 2025!

All donations of any amount are welcome and will help us meet our goal!  We understand that not all families can make a financial contribution. Our goal is to collectively raise funds for all 4th graders to be able to attend.  We are hoping to wrap up the donation process by the end of the year. If you are willing to help plan fundraisers to support the trip, please email Frank Cupido and Jason Fruy. Any extra funds will be saved for the fifth grade overnight, which the students will go on during the fall next year.
