United Action for Youth (UAY) has been providing support to youth and families in Johnson County since 1970. UAY is a local, arts-based youth organization that provides mental health, advocacy and enrichment programs for young people in Johnson County and surrounding areas. This year, UAY celebrates 50 years of empowering local youth to CREATE, GROW & SUCCEED. Help us celebrate by participating in the 8th Annual Ride 4 Youth!

The VIRTUAL Ride 4 Youth will take place September 26th - October 4th, 2020. For the 8th year in a row, this charity bike ride is being coordinated by a group of volunteer med students who are part of the Lois Boulware Learning Community at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. 100% of Ride 4 Youth proceeds benefit youth and families at United Action for Youth. Become a Ride 4 Youth Super Star today! Each Ride 4 Youth Super Star who raises $250 in donations for United Action for Youth will receive FREE registration for this year’s Virtual Ride 4 Youth, R4Y swag (a fanny pack, a fandana, & a water bottle), a UAY Anniversary T-shirt and an opportunity to win a $500 gift certificate to World of Bikes. All donations are raised on-line via social media or by e-mail. For every additional $50 a Super Star raises, they will receive an additional chance to win the World of Bikes gift certificate! R4Y Super Stars will also be featured on UAY’s social media as Super “Rock” Stars, with an opportunity to highlight a special mentor, coach, or teacher who inspired them during their youth. Anyone can be a Ride 4 Youth Super Star - you are not required to ride a bike.
