Ride at The Dock – The Epic 12-Hour Fundraising Quest!

Silent spokes awake! Heartland Bike Share invites you Wednesday, December 17th to help raise the banner of nonprofit bike share. CEO Benny Foltz will ride 12 hours at The Dock to raise funds for Heartland Bike Share. His steed? A stationary bike connected to ZWIFT, the virtual realm of Watopia, and the big screen at the Ashton Building at Millwork Commons.

Happening from 8am – 8pm, Ride at The Dock is a fundraising event like no other. All with a goal to raise $30,000 to support community-first active mobility. The only question we have -- WILL THY JOIN THEE IN OUR NOBLE QUEST?

Visit the Ashton, cheer us on, ride next to Benny, donate to our cause, and become part of the legend. Drop in with community leaders and everyday bike share riders anytime that works for you. Plus, 1 Million Cups Omaha will be sharing the dock space from 8:30am - 9:30am if you're interested in hearing from startup founders and the entrepeneurship community.

Donations for Ride at The Dock go directly to our vision of shared active transportation that serves all in the Omaha & Council Bluffs Metro. The winds of fortune are at our back. Good vibes, eternal glory, and sore thighs await.

Heartland Bike Share is the nonprofit operated bike share program of the Omaha & Council Bluffs Metro. We operate 80+ stations with public access to pedal-assist ebikes across Omaha, Council Bluffs, Papillion, Bellevue and La Vista.

We believe every person should have 24/7/365 access to a reliable, bike to access jobs, educational opportunities, essential services, and healthy recreation. And no matter what, we believe bike share should be affordable for everyone -- we keep it that way through our Reduced-Cost Membership program – and that active mobility should be available in our community where it is needed most.

Heartland Bike Share is operated by ROAM SHARE a 501c3 local nonprofit organization that exists for the development, promotion and operation of bike sharing programs for the benefit of the general public, aimed at promoting health and quality of life as well as mitigating climate change and promoting the use of sustainable & equitable forms of transportation.
