The Rise League was founded in January 2019 by our Co-Founders Dwight and Dmitri Thompson. They were raised right here in Orlando, Florida. Growing up they realized they didn’t have the resources that most of the best players in Central Florida had. Although they made it far as former players, access to resources could’ve propelled them even further, that’s what drives them now. Our goal is to provide the youth with those said resources and opportunities. They noticed how the youth in our community hit their peaks too early due to this and we’re here to change that.

Rise Business Education Scholarship Program

This 12- Month program will teach our members about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, media, and innovation. Each month the members will gather for an engaging, interactive seminar with guest speakers or go on business tours/ shadowing. The members will also be provided with gifts throughout the program. During the finale of the program, we will be awarding $5,000 scholarships to two members. Please help support our program by donating and spreading the word!

Rise League Youth Basketball Program

We also provide year round basketball skill development training, a 7-week recreation season, basketball camps, clinics, and tournaments for children between the ages 7-18. We opened our own training facility so we could train as many kids as possible. We are committed to the development and empowerment of future leaders/athletes by using basketball as a tool to improve health, fitness, and academics.
