Every day, animals in our care receive a second chance because a rescue partner somewhere is willing to say "yes."

Some need specialized medical treatment. Some need behavior support. Some are newborns, seniors, heartworm-positive, recovering from illness, or simply waiting for the right opportunity that our shelter cannot provide alone. Rescue partnerships allow these animals to access lifesaving resources, foster homes, rehabilitation programs, and adoption networks that help them find the future they deserve.

But getting them there comes at a cost.

The Road to Home Fund helps cover rescue pull fees, transport expenses, health certificates, veterinary requirements, fuel, crates, supplies, and other costs associated with moving animals from our shelter to approved rescue partners across the region and beyond.

These transfers are often the difference between an animal remaining in the shelter for months and an animal quickly moving into a foster home, receiving needed medical care, or finding a permanent family.

Every dollar donated helps remove barriers that stand between a shelter pet and a new beginning.
