My best buddy Luke was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in Jan’21. He’s endured multiple hospital visits, blood transfusions, colonoscopies and has had blood labs drawn over 40 times in the past 18 months. His disease is currently being controlled by immunosuppressive medication that is infused via IV at CHOP ever 6 weeks. As of right now, he will have to endure this treatment for life, and that with the hope that it continues to work, which is not certain. We believe a better treatment option exists, but we need the research which requires time and money.
