RoboRecovery

RoboRecovery Donations

We were founded in February of 2021, in response to COVID-19-related learning loss in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects and the pervasive lack of STEM opportunities for New Orleans youth. STEM enrichment is vital for students to connect the skills they learn in the classroom to future paths. Despite Louisiana’s projected surge in STEM job opportunities, for many New Orleans students, socioeconomic marginalization continues to compound into STEM education marginalization, evidence for the dire need to invest in them now.

RoboRecovery strives to bridge this gap. Since our inception, we have provided 12 New Orleans charter schools and after school organizations with free after-school and in-school robotics programs, serving over 500 youth. Our students report on average a 12% increase in their interest in attending college after participating in our after-school program, as well as a 34% increase in their interest in becoming future engineers. We are building a future where all youth have access to hands-on opportunities in STEM and can become future leaders in their respective fields.

Help us catalyze opportunities to build the next generation of New Orleanian scientist and engineers. Together, we can work together to change the future of STEM, one robot at a time!
