Roe Roe's Heroes Childhood Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit raising awareness, supporting research, scholarships and local children and their families fight cancer.

Founded in 2021 by Chad & Meredith Tucker their advocacy work with research foundations and hospitals has to date helped raise more than one million dollars for children fighting cancer.

The foundation is named in honor of the community of heroes who supported the Tucker family as their daughter, Pearl Monroe “Roe Roe” Tucker, battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia for 858-days. Today, Roe Roe remains in remission.

Hero Night A monthly community fundraising event honoring a child fighting cancer while also celebrating their siblings & parents. In partnership with Mi Pueb

lo Mexican Restaurants the community gathers for a meal and fellowship raising funds for the family. Occasionally super heroes and princesses have been known to visit too.

The Hero Library provides comfort books to help young pediatric cancer patients, siblings, and their parents along the journey.

Nancy McGee Smith Nursing Scholarship awards several nursing scholarships yearly, named in honor of Roe Roe’s beloved nurse.

Roe Roe’s Heroes who witnessed the healing and comforting power of play, partner with Roc Solid Foundation to build playsets in the backyards of children fighting cancer.
