The Lindsay Nicole Duck Memorial Fund (“The Lindsay Fund”)

A Legacy of Love, Strength, and Compassion

Created in loving memory of Lindsay Nicole Duck (1990–2023), this fund reflects the enormous heart of a young woman whose presence lit up every room and every basketball court she stepped onto. A proud member of the Goldey-Beacom Women’s Basketball Team from 2008-2011, Lindsay was known for her warmth, humor, and larger-than-life spirit.

Lindsay’s life was also marked by a private struggle with depression, one she faced quietly and without seeking the help she deserved. Her family, determined to transform their grief into hope for others, established this fund so that no student feels alone in their mental health journey.

Gifts to the Lindsay Fund support mental health and wellness initiatives at Goldey-Beacom College, expanding counseling resources, outreach programs, education, and support for students navigating emotional challenges.

By contributing, you help honor Lindsay’s legacy in the most meaningful way by making sure another student finds support when they need it most as well as helping protect other families from the heartbreak of losing someone they love.
