About Abide With Us

Abide With Us is a growing movement of teens being discipled in the way of Jesus. Our mission is to create a culture where young people grow deep roots in their faith and boldly live it out in their everyday lives. We want to see a generation that are leaders for Christ.

Through weekly gatherings, outreach, retreats, service projects, and intentional discipleship, we are getting to watch lives be transformed, seeing teens realize that they are deeply loved by God.

Abide exists to help young believers abide in Christ and bear fruit that lasts.

Our gatherings are real, where teens are learning to pray boldly, read Scripture, serve their communities, and walk with Jesus in an authentic way. We are teaching them that it’s not just about attendance but an active faith.

We’re teaching them not to just be consumers of Christianity, but leaders who carry the Gospel into their daily lives.

The Rooted Cup Vision

The Rooted Cup is meant to be more than just a tournament. It’s a time to unite the community, build strong relationships, and create opportunity where teens encounter Jesus and community.

The idea was born out of our Stand Firm Saturdays which is a weekly Bible study paired with ultimate frisbee. Through community, it created a vision for a county wide event that is built on faith, friendship, and fun.

We want to bring the community together by creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all across Walton County and surrounding areas. We want to build a Kingdom community by building relationships and fostering unity among churches, schools, businesses, and families. By coming together as a community, we get the opportunity to bring transformation that extends far beyond this gathering. Every team and sponsor directly fuels our mission of discipling teens, building community, and reaching the next generation for Jesus.
