In the middle of a global pandemic, life for everyone had turned upside down. For us, we were lucky enough to fall into a lovely little pod of learners for Addie’s 1st grade year. With only 6 kids in a cozy converted yoga studio and two lovely and devoted teachers Roots was born! Not only did Addie survived this time, she THRIVED! This small group became our family during a very different year, making the pandemic much more bearable. Fast forward and Addie is looking forward to her FOURTH year with Roots, her brother Gavin starting his first year as a Kindergarten student! Jackie, the founder and owner has been working tirelessly to grow this school into something extraordinary. She’s recently bought and is renovating a bigger and better space for the Roots campus. We wholeheartedly believe in her mission of creating a beautiful, place based, play based, nature based school for our children.
