This 5K is hosted by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Pikes Peak Chapter 356. It is a family friendly event. Not only is there a 5K, there are vendor booths, a live DJ, a food truck, and a silent auction. NAWIC's core purpose is to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry. The funds raised go directly to the Katie Trapp Conference Fund. These monies help send members to regional and national educational conferences. It covers registrations fees, airfare, and hotel stays. These conferences benefits members by learning about the latest trends and cutting edge-technologies, professional and person development, and networking with professionals from all over the country. These conferences also give our members the opportunity to learn how other chapters operate. They bring ideas back to their chapter to better their own events and members. <br> 126 Cimino Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, USA
