The pandemic has heightened the need for fresh and available food, leading to an increase in the number of households that are food insecure in the St. Croix Valley. In the midst of these challenging times, we have also witnessed an amazing increase in pet ownership. Many of us have yearned for the extra comfort and support that is often found in a loving pet. The Hudson Daybreak Rotary Club organized the event to bring our community together to fuel the St. Croix Valley Food Bank, celebrate our pets and promote healthy activity outdoors!
Fundraising donations will go directly to the St. Croix Valley Food Bank in an effort to end hunger in Western Wisconsin. A portion of the dollars raised will be used to procure pet food that will also be available at the St. Croix Valley Food Bank for needy families with pets. Any money raised surpassing the initial goal will be used to support other Hudson area non-profit organizations.
