Adopt-a-Fire Survivor-Family Holiday Event 2024

Businesses, families, and individuals can bring joy to a fire survivor by adopting their holiday wishlist. Many of our clients lost everything and rely on these gifts to make their holiday special—often the only presents under their trees. Since 2017, Stand for Kindness has partnered with United Disaster Relief of Northern California to make this possible, supporting fire-impacted families by collecting donations and purchasing gifts.

Read about our efforts after the 2018 Camp Fire, when our team provided over 400 families with "gifts of hope." We offer an evening of warmth, food, and community each year, complete with family photos with Santa. We’ll be continuing this tradition again this year!

Ways to Contribute:

• Donate online for us to purchase gifts for a family, with an option to donate anonymously and receive a Tax ID receipt.
• Adopt a family directly by picking up an application at UDRNC's office or emailing us at [email protected]. You can then purchase and wrap gifts for your selected family.
