Hi, I'm Rick, the Owner of PIECES OF VERMONT and the website PiecesOfVermont.com. We specialize in maple sugar candy shapes that other websites don't offer. Over the years we've developed some very unique candies from Halloween shapes to a very popular Christmas Santa . We even trademarked Champ - The Monster of all Maple Candy . But unfortunately development of these candies was very expensive and prohibited us from creating anything scalable. Though the process of developing maple candy molds has become easier and more attainable for a small business such as ours, the cost hasn't come down sufficiently. So, we're reaching out to maple candy enthusiasts to help out. We have several new candy shapes on the drawing boards. With your help we will be sharing delicious, new maple candies and unique candy gifts for years to come! Here's the candy shape that we are currently working on, a firetruck...

"This particular candy shape has significant meaning for me. I am disabled and use a wheelchair. Over the years I have fallen and needed to call our local FD in Key West, for a non-emergency lift assist. And guess what! They send out the pumper truck and a couple angel firemen get me back into my wheelchair. I hope you'll follow this candy's development, and contribute if you can. The plan, ultimately, is the candy will be used as a fund-raising gift for people that donate to local Fire Departments.
