Sông2Sea is thrilled to announce our Year of the Fire Horse merch fundraiser! We are featuring illustrations from our popular Year of the Horse calendar on a limited-edition long-sleeve shirt and three vinyl sticker designs.

The fundraiser ends on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

The Fire Horse represents vigor, independence, and determination. Our merchandise includes the following sayings to reflect these qualities:

“Ngựa hay không sợ đường dài" or "A capable horse is not afraid of the long road"—indicating resilience and determination.
“Một con ngựa đau, cả tàu bỏ cỏ" or "When one horse is sick, the entire herd stops eating"—speaking to the solidarity of feeling another's pain as our own.
“Kiên trì” or “perseverance.”

We draw inspiration from the horse's energetic spirit and remind ourselves that we need perseverance, resilience, and unity to walk together on the long road toward a just and equitable world.

💝In the spirit of turning that vision into action, a portion of the proceeds from our fundraiser will go toward the "Bring Tuan Home" campaign.

Almost a year ago, ICE deported Tuan, a Vietnamese refugee and Washington resident, to South Sudan. A federal judge ruled the deportation illegal, but Tuan is still there. Please support us in meeting Tuan's essential needs while he remains in detention and securing his safe return to Vietnam.

Sông2Sea is a multi-ethnic and multi-racial community-based organization with ancestral connections to Asia Pacific and present-day Vietnam. Sông means river in Vietnamese, representing the many waterways that connect us to and from our homeland.
