Still United 2025

On behalf of Nexus Ministry, the National Association of Korean American United Methodists Serving Cross-Racial Appointments (NAKAUMPSCRA), and the National Association of Korean American United Methodist Clergywomen (NAKAUMC), I am excited to invite you to partner with us as a sponsor for our historic 2025 national conference: “Still United.” This groundbreaking event will take place August 4–7, 2025, at the Sheraton Gateway in Los Angeles, California.

As you know, the United Methodist Church has faced significant challenges in recent years, including the recent disaffiliations. In response, our conference theme, “Still United,” reflects our unwavering commitment as Korean American clergy to unity, diversity, and the transformative power of our Wesleyan heritage. This will be the first joint conference of our three organizations, bringing together over 200 Korean American clergy, clergywomen, and their families, to celebrate our shared mission and strengthen our collective witness.

We are seeking sponsors like you to help make this event a success. With a funding goal of $100,000, your support will enable us to:

- Provide meaningful programming and resources for Korean American clergy serving in diverse congregations throughout the United Methodist Church, most often in cross-racial, cross-cultural appointments.

- Create meaningful space for clergywomen to connect, grow, and lead.

- Opportunity for young clergy and seminarians to be connected with a community of support

- Foster unity and healing within the United Methodist Church.

The registration fee is $100 per individual or family. For commuters, the fee is $50. Please pay your registration fee right here.

We invite you to consider one of the following sponsorship levels:

- **Visionary Sponsor ($10,000)**

- **Sustaining Sponsor ($5,000)**

- **Empowering Sponsor ($2,500)**

- **Supporting Sponsor ($1,000)**

Each level includes unique benefits, such as recognition in conference materials, vendor opportunities, and advertising space. We would be honored to have your organization’s presence at the conference, whether through sponsorship, a vendor table, or both.

Your partnership will not only support this vital gathering but also demonstrate your commitment to diversity, equity, and the future of the United Methodist Church. To confirm your sponsorship or discuss further details, please contact me at [email protected] or 646-280-9885.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to invest in the future of Korean American clergy and the broader United Methodist Church. Together, we can affirm that we are “Still United.”

With gratitude,

Rev. Prumeh Lee
