The First Presbyterian Church of Rome, NY, suffered extensive damage from an EF-2 tornado on July 16, 2024, which destroyed the sanctuary and severely impacted the Christian Education wing. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Despite the devastation, the congregation remains active and hopeful about rebuilding.
