Euthanasia used to be the solution to the over-population of stray and abandoned animals.  That was too cruel, and yet we did not put in place an alternative plan!  So many cats are roaming the neighborhoods, trying to survive!   Low cost spay/neuter is rarely available to residents in Muncie and Delaware County, Indiana.   Together, we can do this!

We have trap/neuter/returned with rabies vaccination 300 cats so far this year.   It's time consuming, costly and full of careful planning with residents, drivers and clinics.  We do it from the heart.  We do it because we love cats.  We do it because it has to be done!  Some colonies are successfully shrinking in number because we have kept at it without fail.

Action for Animals works 24/7, 365 to TNR with a rabies vaccination, support our Community Cat colonies, bring in kittens and friendly cats for foster-to-adopt. It's hard, hard work. Our volunteers are paid with gratitude, not coin.

This year our rescue work has taken a huge toll on the budget. We just hit the half-way mark and NEED YOUR HELP!
